This my story, put together in bits and pieces. It's the story of my son's struggle with autism and all the annoying stuff that comes with it. Click on the JOURNAL and read about all of the issues, good and bad that a parent and child affected by this disability go through on a daily basis. It may sound familar. Who am I? My name is Diane Mayer Christiansen and I am an author and the mother of a wonderful son with autism. I also grew up struggling with severe dyslexia. I am a motivational speaker and have often times found myself, not only talking about my own personal struggle, but my sons as well.
This website is an opportunity to share in my journey with my continuing struggle with dyslexia and with the constant and seeming never ceasing issues of autism. It is also an opportunity to share your own journey. I want to know if there are others out there who really want and need this opportunity, so let your voices be heard!
